The shaker style tray is a good example of the Shaker’s mindset of simple, yet functional. I’ve enjoyed making these trays, which have become a popular wedding gift. Most recently, I’ve started making them as trivets and have noticed that wine lovers have enjoyed adding their own corks to make the piece that much more special.
